The  25 BCMSL Summer season has wrapped.  The Executive wishes to thank all the teams, players and especially the coaches and managers for another great summer season.  The league wrapped the season with playoffs for the youngsters in the Over 40 through Over 55 age groups. 

Congratulations to this summer's playoff winners:

Tri-City Chinese continued their winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Persepolis in the Over 40 final.  The Over 45 age group was once again won by Serbia 'Tara' - who needed penalty kicks to to finish the match against a strong Burnaby Wolves squad, after each team scored during regulation time.  Serbia turned the match into a family affair with lots supporters joining in the celebration.

The Over 50 final was another hard fought affair that ended in a 2-2 tie after regulation.  Port Moody prevailed in penalty kicks leaving Romania to be disappointed after such a well played match. In the Over 55 age group Columbus secured a 3-1 half-time lead and held on for a comfortable 3-2 victory over Viking - Seymour United squad. 

The BCMSL Executive wishes to thank all the referees who are instrumental in helping this league be successful and deliver a fun and competitive experience on the field.
