The 2024/25 BCMSL Winter season has wrapped.  The Executive wishes to thank all the teams, players and especially the coaches and managers for another fine season.  The Finals Sunday was well attended event with 6 highly entertaining matches played at the Inter-River field complex in North Vancouver in what turned out to be perfect weather for football! 

Congratulations to this years Cup winners:

Tri-City Chinese won the Over 40s Cup against LA37 with a clinical display of counter attacking soccer and ruthless finishing in the penalty shoot out.  Legends continued their dominance of the 50’s with their second consecutive Cup, winning 3-0 over a game but undermanned Pegasus. Serbia also showed their traditional form with a 2-1 win over the Lions in the Over 55s Cup final. 

Final Sunday also saw the league hand out Divisional Winner trophies for the first time and these went to America United FC who found their way to a 4-2 victory over BC Tigers, despite going down 2 men to red cards. The Over 50s final saw Richmond United rally from a 3-1 deficit to tie the match AND ultimately win over Aldergrove on PKs. The last match of the day saw Tugs Classic put together a 2-0 upset over a Croatia team that had great success in the regular season but lost crucial matches in the Cup and playoff.
